Good Girls or Bad Girls?

CAN WOMEN  BELONGING TO DEVELOPING AND EMERGING COUNTRIES TAKE A SHARE IN MAKING A BETTER WORLD THROUGH THEIR PROFESSIONAL CAREERS NOT DISERGARDING THE TRADITIONAL ROLES THAT THEIR SOCIETIES HAVE COMMITTED TO THEM?

Still today, there are many prejudices related to women’s professional emancipation.

The economic growth of emerging countries requires more and more man-power and also  'women-power ’…

In traditional societies do you think is possible to combine these demands,  being abreast with the times and legitimizing personal ambitions?

sorry luana, I can't ask mamma ! She is no more in the cave. We just wanted to eat her during last winter drought, but she disagreed, went at university and became a sad executive in a multipurpose utility... (ALL IN TWO MONTHS, WHAT A MAMMA I HAD !) :-) ok, now seriously: I really agree with chicchirichì (wow, what a nick!) BUT ... unfortunately, there are men: more aggressive and capable to spend time in professional career. So it is inadequate to "gives a chance to women to enjoy the same rights as men" (as krikro correctly wrote). Actually to obtain the presence of women, one should make mandatory to have at less 1 women every __ men in the managing roles of organizations (you write the number, I would say 1 ) p.s.: mamma, please, come back ! we will not boil you ... (we had sister at dinner)

dear Incoronatosidero, it seems that you comes from paleolitic! It is nobile to be mother and wife and through these rules a woman contributes to the central element of a society, the family. But she can do something also, do not you thing? Maybe your mother would have liked to do something else also, without neglecting the family? ask her. Ask also please if she had any alternative.

women should stay home, do the cooking, and take care of children. As my mamma and my sister. What else?

well, if the society gives a chance to women to enjoy the same rights as men, then it is surely possible that women could contribute to the developement in their countries in any field. Women in those 'men-oriented' societies have to suffer more as they compete with men. But those women could be wise enough to find the balance between a successful carreer and a good mother!

I do believe we - women - can improve some of the istitutional aspects in the developing countries. We are in fact, by nature, more oriented to mediation; we manage to settle various objectives and, I believe, more sentitive to human pains. yees, I believe we can give a big contribution and I believe also we have the resources to do. What I really hope is that nobody ever anywhere negate us the education!
