ACQUAGAME has been created to help the children learn how to save water
by changing habits and behaviour through small, simple rules.
Fully made in recycled paper, ACQUAGAME intends to teach the children,
since they learn more easily in their childhood, some good habits,
while having fun. The game have been structured so that it can be used
in the classroom by primary school children with the support of their teachers.
After playing for some twenty to thirty minutes, the children will have learnt
those behaviours which allow to save water and those which – on the contrary –
generate waste. The game should be part of a wider pedagogic program concerning
the water resources, their dynamics and preservation so to allow the kids also
to understand the reasons behind a correct and responsible use of water.
On September 22nd 2005 did HYDROAID present to the press the first water
game sponsored by the Municipality of Turin and called “ACQUAGAME”.
The event, which was included in the calendar of the Olympic truce and
held in the suggestive venue of Mole Antonelliana, which also hosts the
National Museum of Cinema, has witnessed the participation of the city
authorities, besides the Deputy Chairman of the Association, Senator G. Migone,
and of its Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Rossella Monti.
The game is in italian.
