Dr. George JadounITC-ILO
George Jadoun is the Head of the
Regional Programmes and Management of Development Group at the International
Training Centre of the ILO in Turin. Throughout his career, he has been
engaged in senior assignments related to management of development, project
management in the private and public sectors, management of public procurement
and public sector administrative reform. He has also been involved in
organisational design, financial management, dispute settlement, contract
law, insurance and logistics. He is an accredited trainer and a developer
of training programmes on public and International Financial Institutions'
procurement and project cycle management, both in face-to-face and distance-learning
modalities. He has co-authored a number of procurement modules / manuals,
inter alia the joint World Bank – ILO/TURIN procurement management series
for goods, works, services and information technology, a UNDP – ILO/TURIN
training module titled "Procurement for Development" and a Manual on Generic
public procurement for Central and Eastern Europe jointly published by
OECD/SIGMA and ILO/TURIN.
