Hydroaid assists in developing cooperation
and meeting specific requirements as regards technical, administrative
and legislative aspects of water policies at different levels of governance:
regional, interregional, urban and suburban.
Hydroaid works to optimize water management and interventions for the preservation of human life and territorial resources to ensure sustainable development tuning to the specific issues of the local culture and economy.
In compliance with its Articles of Association, HYDROAID’s main purpose is training. The proposed courses, whether specialized, single-topic or general, provide the added value necessary to develope and achieve the objectives in any project involving capacity building, planning and organization of local and national water systems managed by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate General Development Cooperation, and actions aimed at decentralized cooperation in the developing countries.
Hydroaid avails to human resources of sound technical and scientific background to provide training support appropriate for the hydro-climatic requirements of an area involved in a cooperation project, while taking into account the infrastructures and social and productive background of the area. Furthermore, Hydroaid directly fosters integration and cooperation between Italian and foreign public and private institutions, the former being part of the Association and the latter involved in the vocational training network.
