Seventh Hydroaid training programme 2008 on planning and management of water resources
Every year, HYDROAID hosts more than 30 students working in water resources management agencies in developing countries. Over 25% of the course participants are women.

WATSAM Project (FED/2011/279318): Support Arba Minch Town Water Utility and Municipality in the water and sanitation sector through capacity building and partnership development with Italian water organizations.
HYDROAID, through the election of Amb. Giacomelli, (Chairman of the Association) as a member of the Secretary-General Advisory Board on Water & Sanitation, is actively supporting the worldwide international policies to reach the sanitation MDGs.
The video, realized by Reuters, witnesses the dramatic situation of living of thousands of people in Kibera. Kibera is the biggest slum in Nairobi (Kenya) and the second largest in Africa after Soweto. Sanitation is a key priority. Watch the video.

ECOSOC - United Nations Economic and Social Council recognition
The UN DESA ONG Committee recommended the Council of ECOSOC - Economic and Social Council of the United Nations - the formal recognition of the special consultative status of Hydroaid as International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO).
